Flowers are grouped into 1 of 2 catagories they are Perennial and
anual. - Perennial flowers come back year after year they are able to survive the winter.
- Annual flowers are seasonal
they usually cant survive the winters and have to be replanted every year.

| Salvia, Perennial |  | Comes from the mint family also refered to as sage, over 700 species with
some being annual and brush forms as well as perennial. Produces showy disply of flowers in wide variety
of colors.

| Dahlia | | Summer blooming tubers. Generaly hardy only in zones 7-11
otherwise a annual. Thousands of varietys ranging in height from 12" to 8', comes in many colors. |
| Cannas |  | Cannas ar an easy to grow tropical plant that come in a variety of colors, even
though they are perenials they do not handle freezing conditions well and may need to be lifted and stored for
winter in zones other than 7 thru 10. |
